Work We Do
Maa Ki Rasoi
- Maa Ki Rasoi is also one of the verticals of the Philharmonic Trust. It started on 1st February 2020 with motivation and personal support from Mrs. Menka Soni, chairperson of Ampowering, USA. Itis also being supported financially and physically by friends and relatives.
- Maa Ki Rasoi started serving lunch to 100+ needy persons every Sunday from Pitampura New Delhi, India. A nominal Rs 5.00 is charged per plate to avoid wastage and persons take it with grace and honor.
- We even provide free food to the very poor who cannot afford even %5.00. Now, we have extended this facility on Saturday where we distribute Bananas but don’t charge any money for it. We have been able to continue food distribution, with the help of friends and relatives, now for more than 3 years.
- During Covid 19, the volunteers of Maa Ki Rasoi provided food to COVID-19-affected patients at their residences continuously every day for about 3 months. Also, during the floods in Delhi in July 2023, Maa Ki Rasoi provided food, to epee as ae who were forced to live in tents/school premises, etc, continuously for 5 days twice daily.
- Philharmonic Trust now wants to scale up Maa Ki Rasoi operations by providing food to genuine needy persons on every day. It is possible only through donations under CSR and other philanthropic persons/ methods etc. We plan to have our own restaurant where Maa Ki Rasoi will provide food @ 5.00 per plate.
